New Pokemon x Target collaboration for 30th anniversary
Target has announced that more collectibles are on the way as part of the celebrations for Pokemon’s 30th anniversary. Most of the items will go on sale from early June 2026, and it seems likely that many products will sell out within hours, as was the case with the earlier Pokemon merchandise release. This collaboration between Target and The Pokemon Company International was originally announced in April 2026 as an exclusive, limited collection.
First sale and sellout
The original collection went live in early May 2026 and sold out almost immediately. Given its popularity, Target has confirmed that the collaboration will return with additional products in late spring 2026. On May 27, 2026, a number of new items were revealed, but most of the lineup remained a mystery until a few days later.
Drop 2 product lineup
The latest Pokemon x Target collection includes around $1,200 worth of merchandise, spread across more than 40 products with an average price of $27.85. This new wave of items focuses on lower-cost accessories, posters, outdoor toys, clothing, and a few premium collectibles. The items will be available exclusively in stores starting June 6, 2026, with an online launch also planned for the weekend of June 2 and 3, 2026.

Purchase limit
To slow the rapid sellout seen previously, Target has set a limit of one unit per item, per customer, both in stores and online. This measure is intended to discourage bulk buying and help combat scalpers, especially for the most sought-after items.
