Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Year 2 Season Pass costs $29.99
Sega has priced the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Year 2 Season Pass at $29.99 and revealed new DLC with Godzilla, Evangelion, and Sega themes.
The announced DLC includes crossover content with Godzilla and Evangelion, plus Sega-inspired packs such as a Segaland Pack and a Reload Revival Royal Pack with Persona content. The exact contents of those packs have not yet been fully detailed.
The announcement also sparked discussion around a Sega post from June 2025. Fans point out that Sega reportedly said at the time that “all future paid downloadable content” would be included in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
What happened
Sega has revealed new Year 2 content for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and attached a standalone Year 2 Season Pass priced at $29.99. According to the reporting, the price applies on supported platforms.
The publisher had previously shown crossover DLC featuring Godzilla and Evangelion during Summer Game Fest. On October 9, the team again highlighted Year 2 content during the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds World Championship Finals in New York City.
Alongside the crossover packs, Sega also mentioned content drawn from its own catalog. That included a Segaland Pack and a Reload Revival Royal Pack with Persona content, though the available information does not yet provide a full contents list for either pack.
The debate centers on a Sega post from June 2025. Fans are pointing to that message because Sega reportedly said that “all future paid downloadable content” would be part of the Digital Deluxe Edition. Based on the available information, it is still not fully clear how broadly that wording should be interpreted.

The current criticism stems from the combination of a $29.99 paid Season Pass and earlier communication about future paid DLC. The sources in this report do not provide a definitive confirmation of the contractual scope of that earlier message.
