Bandai Namco has shared a first look at Yujiro Hanma for Tekken 8. Roger Jr. gets early access on November 11 and full release on November 16.
During Evo France 2026, a new Season 3 trailer for Tekken 8 was shown. In that same update, Roger Jr. got an early access date of November 11 and a full release on November 16.
No release date has been announced yet for Yujiro Hanma. However, the teaser says a new trailer is planned for the Tekken World Tour Finals on January 17, 2027.
What happened
Bandai Namco has shown the first footage of Yujiro Hanma for Tekken 8. The teaser identifies him as a DLC character and as a guest from Baki the Grappler, but it does not include a full moveset, gameplay breakdown, or a concrete release date. For now, the available information is limited to a first reveal and a reference to a later update.
The new Tekken 8 Season 3 trailer was shown around Evo France 2026. The official Tekken site tied that update to Roger Jr., presenting him as the third additional character of Season 3. In the same announcement round, Bandai Namco also confirmed Roger Jr.'s schedule: early access begins on November 11 and the full release follows on November 16. The official post also notes that the trailer was unveiled at Evo France 2026.
Yujiro Hanma's rollout is not complete yet. The teaser points to a new trailer during the Tekken World Tour Finals on January 17, 2027, but it does not name an exact release date for the character itself. That means January 17, 2027 is currently the only firm date attached to Yujiro in the announcement.
