Marvel has revealed the full VisionQuest release schedule. Episode 1 goes live a day early on 13 October 2026, followed by a two-episode rollout.
VisionQuest is a Disney+ series centered on Vision, played by Paul Bettany. The cast also includes James Spader as Ultron. The official synopsis also mentions AI personas in Vision’s system, including Friday, Edith, Jarvis, and Ultron.
Marvel announced the schedule in an official post on X, confirming the full rollout and highlighting the earlier premiere for episode 1.
What happened
Marvel Studios has revealed the release schedule for VisionQuest in an official post on X. It shows that episode 1 will not arrive on 14 October, but instead on 13 October 2026. The new start time is 18:00 PT / 21:00 ET, making the first episode available a day earlier than originally planned.
According to the published schedule, episodes 1 and 2 will both be available on 13 October. Episodes 3 and 4 follow on 20 October, and episodes 5 and 6 on 27 October 2026. That means Marvel is keeping a two-episodes-per-week rhythm for most of the series, spread across three consecutive weeks.
The final two weeks break from that pattern. Episode 7 is set for a standalone release on 3 November 2026, followed by episode 8 on 10 November 2026 as the season finale. In total, the season will have eight episodes, with the last two weeks each featuring a single episode instead of a double drop.
The official Marvel Studios post on X confirms, according to the source text provided, that the full release schedule has been published and that episode 1 is arriving earlier than first planned. The IGN report mentioned in the source list ties that announcement to the full episode-date overview.

The official synopsis also mentions AI personas in Vision’s system, including Friday, Edith, Jarvis, and Ultron. In the provided context, the series is therefore framed not only as a release update, but also as a project where Vision, Ultron, and multiple digital personas play central roles.

27 October 2026: episodes 5 and 6 arrive, again as two episodes on the same day.
3 November 2026: episode 7 arrives as a standalone release, breaking from the earlier two-per-week pattern.
10 November 2026: episode 8, the finale, arrives and closes out the season.
Total: VisionQuest has 8 episodes, with a rollout that delivers six episodes across the first three weeks and two standalone episodes in the final two weeks.
Background
Marvel’s synopsis describes Vision as having escaped those who wanted to use him as a weapon, and now living in hiding. Along the way, he consults AI personas from his own system, including Friday, Edith, Jarvis, and Ultron. That list makes it clear the series is not only about Vision, but also about the digital entities present in his memory or system.
The same synopsis introduces Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy Vision encounters while on the run. Marvel carefully notes that he may be Vision’s son reincarnated, but does not present that as a confirmed fact. The source context therefore makes clear that this element remains speculative within the official description.
The only concrete source reference in the provided context is an official Marvel Studios post on X, which confirms that the full release schedule has been published and that episode 1 is arriving earlier than originally planned. The source list also mentions an IGN article summarizing the schedule and explaining the early premiere for episode 1.
The available details also give a clear picture of the rollout: 13 October 2026 for the first two episodes, 20 October for episodes 3 and 4, 27 October for episodes 5 and 6, 3 November for episode 7, and 10 November for the finale. That fully fills out the schedule for the season’s eight episodes.
