A bakery in California, known as One House Bakery, has perfected the art of spookiness with their newest baked creation - a painstakingly detailed bread sculpture of the well-known infected enemy character "Clicker" from the popular video game title, The Last of Us. The thrilling sight was first mentioned by Eater San Francisco.

Run by a talented mother-daughter tandem, Catherine and Hannalee Pervan, the bakehouse crafted this chilling character out of pure dough. The Clicker, if you're not too familiar with The Last of Us, is a blind, cordyceps-infected creature with heightened hearing and a distinctive croaking and clicking noi?e. Meeting one would surely not be a pleasant experience, especially in an apocalyptic world.

The idea for the bread sculpture emerged as part of an annual city-wide scarecrow contest where local businesses showcase their most chilling scarecrow creations. The co-owners poured over 400 hours into making this particular creation. The project's unusual method involved the use of balloons wrapped in dough forming the visible mushroom-shaped details on the statue.

Interestingly, for anyone who followed the first season of The Last of Us HBO series, bread plays a significant role. It was revealed that flour contamination led to the global cordyceps outbreak. This adds a touch of irony to the baker's choice of sculpture material.

So, what's next for One House Bakery? Only time will tell. However, they've certainly kneaded their way into the hearts of fans with their chilling Clicker creation.
