Activision, the renowned game developer, has upcoming Call of Duty titles planned out until 2027, as revealed by the company's head Rob Kostich in an interview with GamesBeat.
The popular shooting game series, which has been running for two decades, continuously explores new phases of long-term planning, striving for the ideal 'sweet spot' in game settings. According to Kostich, each title in the franchise has been a learning opportunity, leading to popular successes like Modern Warfare and Black Ops, along with other well-received editions such as Call of Duty: WW2 by Sledgehammer Games in 2017.
The intention is to provide different experiences for players, giving them a sense of exploring new types of enjoyment. The next anticipated release in this series, Modern Warfare 3, will be out on November 10.
Gamers worldwide are awaiting tomorrow's unveiling of the multiplayer mode during Call of Duty: Next.
This weekend marks the start of the game's beta on PlayStation 5, and there will be opportunities for Xbox and PC players next week.
Activision does not reveal which titles are planned for the coming years. The company has been a key player in the gaming industry since 1999, amassing a loyal community of followers with their news, previews, reviews, and insights into the gaming world.
