The latest matchmaking details were revealed alongside the premiere of a trailer for the upcoming second season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, which begins on February 7th. The trailer showcases three new 6v6 multiplayer maps—Stash House, Vista, and Departures—and a mode related to The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. Modern Warfare 3's second season promises to enhance the gaming experience with stable and competitive matchmaking, emphasizing factors like player skill, variety in playlists, modes and maps, input methods (controller or keyboard and mouse), and voice chat preferences.

How does matchmaking work in Call of Duty?
nMatchmaking in Call of Duty leverages multiple factors starting with the player's internet connection quality, aiming to minimize ping for a smoother gaming experience. The system also considers player skill, the variety of playlists, game modes, maps, platform type, input methods, and voice chat settings to create competitive and balanced multiplayer lobbies.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone form part of a long-standing and popular franchise known for its immersive first-person shooter gameplay and robust multiplayer modes. Modern Warfare 3 continues the series' tradition by offering various multiplayer environments, a breadth of gameplay features, and introduces content inspired by contemporary media such as The Walking Dead, demonstrating the cross-media influence within the gaming industry.
