Akira Himekawa, the renowned manga duo known for their work on The Legend of Zelda, will be making a highly anticipated appearance at New York Comic Con 2025. What is Kamudo about?

Kamudo is set in the utopian nation of Ryujinkyo and follows Kamuna, a boy born with a human torso and dragon’s left hand. The story explores themes of identity, rivalry, and societal tensions as Kamuna navigates a world that fears his existence while training in ancient martial arts.

Akira Himekawa, consisting of artists A. Suzuki and K. Himekawa, has been active since 1991 and is celebrated for their adaptations of popular The Legend of Zelda games into manga form.
