Alan Wake 2 patch fixes over two hundred issues

Remedy has issued an update for Alan Wake 2 on consoles and PC which addresses over 200 bugs and implements various improvements. A New Game Plus mode has been confirmed for a future update, which promises to deliver an "alternative story". Both free and paid DLCs are also coming to the game with the first paid expansion expected in spring 2024.n

Alan Wake 2 is available on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X and S. Players not only control the titular writer but also FBI agent Saga Anderson as they investigate mysterious murders in Bright Falls and the disappearance of Wake 13 years prior. The gaming experience can be adjusted by switching between the characters.n

The first Alan Wake game released in 2010 revolves around the titular writer searching for his missing wife in Bright Falls while potentially losing his sanity. Other popular games by Remedy include Control and Quantum Break.n

The game has received favorable reviews, such as the score of 8.5 given by Ron Vorstermans: "Alan Wake 2 keeps you on the edge of your seat.
