Amazon has officially announced the dates for Prime Day 2024, which will take place on July 16-17. This marks Amazon’s 10th Prime Day event. Leading up to the event, early deals are already being offered, including five months of Amazon Music Unlimited and three months of Audible Premium Plus for free for Prime members. Significant discounts are also available on Amazon devices like Kindle and Echo speakers. Exclusive deals are available to Prime members, and new users can sign up for a free 30-day trial to take full advantage during the event. Additionally, other major retailers like Walmart and Best Buy are also planning their sales around the same period to compete with Amazon Prime Day.
What additional deals can Prime members expect during Amazon Prime Day?
Prime members can look forward to a variety of exclusive deals including discounts on TVs, kitchen appliances, Apple products, and more. Special lightning deals will also offer new products at reduced prices every hour during the two-day event.
Amazon Prime Day, first launched in 2015, has since grown into a major shopping event comparable to Black Friday. Initially meant to celebrate Amazon's 20th anniversary, Prime Day now includes a wide variety of products, with increasingly attractive offers for Prime members. Since 2022, Amazon has also introduced Prime Big Deal Days, held in October, offering another opportunity for shoppers to snag great deals before Black Friday. These events have helped solidify Amazon's presence in the annual sales landscape, driving significant competition among other retailers.
