Arc Raiders Set for October Launch After Four-Year Wait

Arc Raiders, the much-anticipated online shooter from Embark Studios, is set to launch on October 30, 2025, across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. This release announcement was made during the Summer Game Fest, following a recent public network test that allowed players to experience gameplay first-hand. The game's executive producer, Aleksander Grøndal, expressed excitement over the community's response and noted that the development team is focused on addressing bugs, improving game balance, and enhancing new player onboarding before the official launch. Upon its release, players will delve into a sandbox PvPvE experience, battling against both rival raiders and deadly Arc machines.

Arc Raiders will be available on PC (Steam and Epic Games), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S when it launches on October 30, 2025.

Embark Studios, known for its innovative approach to game development, created Arc Raiders after a shift in genre and multiple delays since its initial reveal at The Game Awards in 2021. Unlike many titles in its category, Arc Raiders will not be free-to-play, emphasizing a premium experience for players in this new PvPvE shooter.
