Ark: Survival Ascended also introduces an in-game mod browser, bringing mod support to console versions of the game for the first time.
However, there's a drawback for PlayStation enthusiasts; the release of Ark: Survival Ascended for the PS5 has been pushed back to early December due to unforeseen issues found during the certification with Sony. Studio Wildcard expressed their appreciation for the patience from the Xbox community and regret for the delay experienced by PlayStation fans.
Ark: Survival Ascended is a remake of the original Ark: Survival Evolved and was announced earlier this year after the anticipated sequel, Ark 2, had its release delayed until late 2024.
