Arkane Lyon, known for creating immersive games like Prey, Deathloop, and Dishonored, is developing a new game based on Marvel's Blade character. The announcement was made during The Game Awards, revealing Blade as a vampire hunter set in a quarantined section of Paris amidst a supernatural emergency. This game celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Blade franchise and is part of a larger slate of Marvel games in development, including titles like a Black Panther game by EA, Wolverine by Insomniac, and a Captain America game by SkyDance New Media. Release dates and platforms for Blade have not been disclosed yet, but it is expected to be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Marvel is also working on a new Blade film. With Arkane's last game involving vampires having seen mixed reception, fans are hopeful that Blade will showcase the studio's return to form.

When is the Blade video game by Arkane Lyon expected to release?

As of now, no specific release date for the Blade video game has been announced. It is anticipated to be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in the future.
