Video games developer Ubisoft has revealed the PC specifications needed for the best possible gameplay experience for its upcoming title, Assassin's Creed Mirage.

Set in ninth-century Baghdad, the game uses an uncapped frame rate in 4K, offering several features including multi-monitor and widescreen support, and HDR for panoramic viewing. It is enabled for simultaneous use with a keyboard, mouse, and controller.

The PC version uses Intel's AI-assisted XeSS Super Sampling, Nvidia DLSS, and AMD FSR to upscale resolution while optimizing frame rates. It is also optimized for Intel Arc GPUs and 13th-generation CPUs. Assassin's Creed Mirage can also synchronize ambient lighting using MSI's Mystic Light products and enables upper-body haptic feedback with the OWO Haptic Gaming System vest, which is also compatible with consoles.

Ubisoft provided a range of recommended hardware configurations for different performance targets. For instance, to achieve 1080p, 30 frames per second (FPS), and a low preset, an Intel Core i7-4790K or an AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 8GB RAM, and 40GB SSD Storage are required. In contrast, for 2160p, ultra preset, and 60 FPS, an Intel Core i5-11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB RAM, and 40GB SSD Storage are needed.

While the minimum specs are relatively modest, the recommended ones are more demanding, implying that a more powerful PC might be required for an optimal gaming experience. Regardless, these specifications seem reasonable and should allow many PC gamers to enjoy the game.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is set to release on October 5 and is currently available for pre-order.
