Baldur's Gate 3's latest update brings a thrilling new epilogue and game modes — discover what’s in store now

Larian Studios has rolled out a significant update for Baldur's Gate 3, known as Patch 5, introducing a new epilogue and two innovative game modes to enhance the gameplay experience. After defeating the final boss, players can now enjoy an additional narrative set six months later in a fresh epilogue sequence, enriching the game's story even further. Honour Mode presents a heightened challenge with 30 alterations to boss fights, including the introduction of Legendary Actions, and removes the ability to save progress. Death in this mode will present players' journey statistics before allowing them to continue in a different difficulty. Successful completion of Honour Mode rewards players with The Golden D20 dice. Custom Mode offers a tailored experience with options like hidden throw requirements and enemy HP meters, along with the ability to fully heal companions during Short Rests. Baldur's Gate 3's gameplay is deepened thanks to these updates, and the new challenges are set to offer both returning and new players a unique and rewarding experience.
