DICE is capitalizing on a mix of nostalgia and new content by introducing two maps, including one inspired by Arica Harbor called Haven focused on destruction and suburban combat, and Stadium, a returning favorite from a previous map rework. Additionally, the season promises fan-favorite weapons from Battlefield 4, the AK 5C carbine, and SCZ-3 SMG, along with the new wire-guided Predator SRAW missile launcher. A highlight of the new content includes the XFAD-4 Draugr, a remote-controlled aerial bomber. Gameplay updates are also on the horizon with visual recoil enhancements to better reflect weapon power and roles. Players with the Year 1 Pass will be granted access to missed content from Seasons 5 and 6 simply by logging in during Season 7. A free-to-play period from March 21 to 24 accompanies the new season, inviting all players to experience the turning point of Battlefield 2042.
