Dec 20, 2023 9:08 AM

Gamers eager for the second installment of the Final Fantasy 7 remake series can look forward to a substantial adventure. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is set to offer a gameplay duration ranging from 40 to 100 hours. Players focused solely on the main storyline can complete the game in approximately 40 hours, while those engaging with side quests and aiming for a comprehensive experience may invest around 100 hours. The game will feature a vast, explorable world, enriched with new locations not present in the original Final Fantasy 7. Additionally, there are various optional activities, such as a rhythm-based piano mini-game where players use analog sticks to hit the right notes.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, continuing from where the first part ended with the heroes leaving Midgar, will introduce the open world aspect like its predecessor. Square Enix has announced that the title will span across two discs and, for the time being, will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive releasing on 29 February 2024. The promise is of a robust gaming experience, presumably with rich storytelling and enhanced graphics faithful to the beloved franchise.

What extras will be in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's gameplay?

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will expand upon its core narrative with a substantial volume of side content, including mini-games like the piano rhythm challenge and additional towns to explore. This range of optional activities promises to deliver an even richer experience for fans and newcomers alike.

Gotta say, the inclusion of immersive extras like that piano mini-game in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth really shows Square Enix's dedication to creating a fleshed-out world. It's not just about the main quest; it's these quirky side activities and hidden gems that can turn a great game into an unforgettable journey. 🎹🗺️✨

Square Enix seems to be striking that sweet spot between nostalgia and innovation with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The blend of a massive core journey and the piano-tickling side hustles sounds like a perfect excuse to get lost in that world all over again.
