Blizzard, the gaming company, is reportedly holding discussions about the possibility of releasing World of Warcraft on Xbox. The game, which first launched in 2004, has only been available on PC so far. The news comes in the wake of Activision Blizzard's acquisition by Microsoft, implying that there might be conversations about bringing the game to consoles, especially Xbox. Holly Longdale, the executive producer at Blizzard, acknowledged the challenge of catering to a console audience and stated that they are enthusiastic about three upcoming expansions. The update was announced during the recent Blizzcon event, where the Worldsoul Saga, a new overarching story for the MMO that will span three future expansions, was also revealed.
