Jun 25, 2024 6:28 PM

The developer for Luigi's Mansion 2 HD has been confirmed as Tantalus Media. Known for their previous work on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD and Skyward Sword HD, Tantalus Media brings their expertise to remastering the popular 2013 Nintendo 3DS title. The news was revealed by sources close to Video Games Chronicle. Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is slated for a June 27 release on the Nintendo Switch, continuing Nintendo's trend of not disclosing who works on their remasters, as seen in the Super Mario RPG remake and Super Mario Wonder voice casting. This remaster follows the series' tradition of ghost-catching fun in various haunted locales, making it a worthy addition to any Switch library.

What other games has Tantalus Media worked on?n

Tantalus Media has worked on several notable projects, including HD remasters for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, the Nintendo Switch port of Sonic Mania, the PC port of the original The House of the Dead, and the Definitive Editions of Age of Empires 1-3.

Luigi's Mansion 2, also known as Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, originally released on the Nintendo 3DS in 2013. The game is a direct sequel to the original Luigi's Mansion, and it continues the story of Luigi as he captures ghosts in various haunted mansions. The HD remaster brings enhanced visuals and updated controls to the Nintendo Switch, ensuring both new and returning players can enjoy the spooky adventures of Luigi in modern style.
