Netflix has released the first trailer for the upcoming Onimusha animated series, set to premiere on November 2.

The series, like the Onimusha games, is set in ancient Japan and follows the journey of protagonist Musashi Miyamoto as he battles evil in a poverty-stricken country with his sword.

The character is inspired by Japanese actor Mifune Toshiro and directed by Takashi Miike. The voice of Musashi is provided by Akio Otsuka, who also voiced the character of Nobunaga Oda in the games.

In addition to this, Netflix is reported to be working on a Bioshock movie. Gamers and anime fans alike have a lot to look forward to.
