Counter-Strike 2, developed by Valve, has received a major update, introducing custom maps to the game. This news has been eagerly received by fans who consider custom maps excellent for training. The predecessor to Counter-Strike 2, CS: GO, had immeasurably beneficial maps for aim training, learning how to pre-fire, learn smokes, and spots to peek on particular maps.

However, those maps were not available when CS2 replaced CS: GO in September. Since the release of this new update, community map makers have already shown their skills, with an aim training custom map going live less than a day after the update launched. Counter-Strike 2 launched in September and replaced the 11-year-old Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

While the game currently has a mixed user review rating of 63% on Steam for recent reviews, all reviews are 'very positive.' It should be noted that these include reviews for Global Offensive as well.
