In the world of Cyberpunk 2077, an intriguing mystery continues to unfold with the recent 2.0 update and the Phantom Liberty expansion. The mystery, tagged as FF:06:B5, originates from an encoded statue in Night City worshipped by monks, and has captured the attention of more than 24,000 Reddit community members.

The mystery deepens as links with other CD Projekt Red games, such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, emerge. In The Witcher 3, players found related strange letters, symbols, as well as references to what is assumed to be the FF:06:B5 secret.

The launch of the 2.0 Update and the accompanying Phantom Liberty expansion has added new clues to the mix, leading fans closer to solving the puzzle. Quest director Pawe? Sasko has confirmed the presence of a solution, but the hints so far haven't offered enough for that purpose.

A new part to the puzzle is introduced in the 2.0 Update. Players find a laptop in a landfill displaying a conversation hinting at an FF:06:B5 reference in a retro video game "over 60 years old." Other intriguing connections have also been found, and these are currently being examined by fans.

Additional depth is introduced with the 2.0 Update's added arcade game, Arasaka Tower 3D, which refers to the events in Cyberpunk 2077's universe. It includes a hidden room featuring a low-poly model of the original mystery-stirring statue.

Various other connections relating to the FF:06:B5 code have been discovered, keeping fans deeply engrossed. Although attempts to data-mine the game's files have yielded some codes, CD Projekt Red has politely asked the community to refrain from revealing them, encouraging players to properly unravel the mystery.

Even with these data-mined codes, the mystery is far from resolved, and more secrets have yet to be uncovered. These are expected to emerge along with the launch of Phantom Liberty on September 26. The possibility of the mystery spanning across games for years to come has also been suggested, given the clues in The Witcher 3.

The Phantom Liberty expansion, receiving a satisfactory 9/10 in its review, has undoubtedly enhanced interest in Cyberpunk 2077, reviving CD Projekt Red's future RPG.
