Dead by Daylight fans eagerly awaiting new content can now mark their calendars. Behaviour Interactive has announced that the new narrative-centric horror game, The Casting of Frank Stone, will be released on September 3, 2024. Developed by Supermassive Games, known for titles like Until Dawn and The Quarry, this spin-off takes players into a world of aspiring filmmakers who find themselves trapped in a real-life horror scenario while filming in an abandoned steel mill. Players will navigate multiple characters, with their fates influenced by the choices they make, reminiscent of Supermassive's past works.

Behaviour also shared an exciting new trailer filled with classic horror film vibes and revealed new features, including the highly-requested 2v8 mode and a new playable character, Lara Croft. This marks the third Dead by Daylight spin-off, following the dating sim Hooked on You and the co-op roguelike What the Fog. Fans are also teased with news about another future spinoff project, currently known as Project T.
