In the newly released edition of the Assassin's Creed series called 'Assassin's Creed Mirage', a deceased cat that bears a pattern resembling the Assassin's Creed logo on its nose has been immortalized. This unique idea came forth after a fan shared a picture of his late cat that had a similar pattern. In response, Ubisoft, the developer of the game series, decided to incorporate the cat into Mirage. The new game 'Assassin's Creed Mirage', is set in the 9th century and focused on a pivotal moment in history. Compared to its recent predecessors, Mirage has returned to the more intimate framing of earlier Assassin's Creed games, highlighting stealth gameplay and focusing on a single city. Players control the character Basim Ibn Ishaq, introduced previously in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and explore Baghdad and its surrounding areas. The game was launched last week on
PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC. Critic Lars Cornelis rated it 6.5, stating that while the game is reminiscent of the earlier releases and entertaining, it seems to lack new aspects.
