Developer Bungie has revealed this exciting update for players who have long requested the ability to modify their Guardians' visuals. Slated for release before the upcoming expansion The Final Shape, this customization option will allow changes to body type, face, hair, and facial markings at any time and without any additional cost. This decision comes after Bungie's acknowledgment of the criticism regarding various choices in the game and expressing a commitment to regaining player trust. In late 2020, the expansion The Final Shape was postponed, now rescheduled for a June release.
