Bungie has announced "Destiny Rising," a mobile game that serves as an alternate timeline prequel to the popular FPS series, Destiny 2. Developed by Netease Games, closed alpha sign-ups are currently available. The game retains first-person shooter mechanics featuring combat against various foes like the Vex and Hive. Unique elements include a fresh narrative exploring humanity's rise post-Collapse, set in a timeframe before Destiny's established lore.
