The gaming data website, Games Sales Data (GSD), has reported that Diablo 4 was the top-selling game of June 2023 in Europe. It also ranks as the second or third best-selling title of 2023, just behind Hogwarts Legacy and possibly Tears of the Kingdom. Of all the Diablo 4 copies sold, 66% were PC versions, while a fifth were for the PlayStation 5. The rest comprise sales for the Xbox Series X/S and the PlayStation 4.

Final Fantasy 16 comes up as the second-best seller for June 2023. However, it started off 24% less successful than the Final Fantasy 7 Remake on its release. Interestingly, the latter was launched in the middle of the pandemic.

As for hardware, the PlayStation 5 has overtaken the Nintendo Switch with the DualSense controller outperforming the Xbox Wireless controller.

In related news, Blizzard Entertainment has announced two expansions for Diablo 4 are in development. A review of Diablo 4 can also be found on the website.
