The magical world of Frozen is set to expand with Disney CEO Bob Iger confirming that not only is Frozen 3 on its way, but a Frozen 4 is also potentially in development at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Chief creative officer and original Frozen co-director Jennifer Lee is reported to be crafting two new stories for the beloved franchise.

This reveal came during Iger's appearance on Good Morning America, celebrating the new World of Frozen experience at Hong Kong Disneyland. While no specific details about the movies have been disclosed, fans of the series have a lot to look forward to.

Back in February 2023, the third installment of Frozen was announced alongside other sequels like Toy Story 5 and Zootopia 2 during a quarterly earnings call. Additionally, Disney recently launched a new podcast series named Disney Frozen: Forces of Nature, unfolding a narrative set after Frozen 2, though its connection to the upcoming films remains unconfirmed.

Frozen, which celebrates its 10th anniversary on November 27, was a blockbuster hit, and its sequel surpassed its impressive earnings making it the highest-grossing film from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

With the opening of the immersive World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland on November 20, visitors can experience the enchantment of Arendelle firsthand with multiple attractions, setting the stage for the next chapter in the Frozen saga.
