Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has released a free demo for its upcoming game Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam. The demo allows players to explore parts of Honolulu and a new area called Madlantis. Players can engage in battle, switch fighting styles, and participate in ship and deck battles within the Pirates' Coliseum. However, progress from the demo is unlikely to carry over to the full game, which launches on February 21, 2025. The spin-off follows Goro Majima, who suffers from amnesia and embarks on a pirate adventure. The game promises an extensive story experience lasting 15 to 18 hours, featuring new customization options and a nostalgic return of fan-favorite character Taiga Saejima.
