The Dutch-based development studio, StickyLock, has announced their free-to-play multiplayer shooter, Histera. The standout feature of the game is a unique mechanism called the 'Glitch,' which can transform the map environment rapidly during gameplay. This means that the setting can switch from a jungle to a World War II scenario in mere seconds. The weaponry in the game is drawn from several different historical periods.

Histera is set to launch sometime in 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, according to the game's official website. A demo of the game will be available during the upcoming Steam Next Fest, running from October 9-16. Many are excited to see how this changeable environment strategy will impact the gameplay and find an audience.
