Techland, the developer of Dying Light 2, recently revealed plans for the game’s future content. Their roadmap outlines updates for the autumn and winter seasons. Although specifics haven't been detailed, fans can expect new missions, including co-op missions, quests, and firearm upgrades, such as a potential new shotgun. There will also be a tower raid.

Additionally, the game will include smaller enhancements. Gamers will gain the ability to repair weapons, dismantle mods, and use new weapons like knives and polearms. There will also be new enemy variants, a "nightmare" difficulty level, new finishers, and modding support for the community.

Excitingly, the roadmap includes some upcoming events and crossovers. Vampire: The Masquerade will kick off the crossover events this October, followed by a Halloween event. A surprising crossover with Ubisoft's For Honor is expected in November. December will see a winter-themed event and a second anniversary commemoration for the game.

However, recent microtransactions introduced in the game have caused some discontent amongst the fanbase. Still, with the range of new content and updates coming, there's enough to keep Dying Light 2 players engaged and looking forward to the game’s evolution.
