Dying Light 2 Sequel Officially Revealed at Gamescom 2024

Techland has officially revealed a new standalone title in the Dying Light franchise called Dying Light: The Beast during Gamescom Opening Night Live. This game features the return of protagonist Kyle Crane, who has escaped captivity and undergone experiments that have integrated zombie DNA into his own. Set in the post-apocalyptic region of Castor Woods, players can expect around 20 hours of gameplay. Dying Light: The Beast includes online co-op for up to four players while also supporting solo play. Owners of Dying Light 2: Stay Human Ultimate Edition will receive the game for free, while it will be available for $39.99 for all others. A specific release date has not yet been announced but is expected later this year.
