Gears of War fans have exciting news as John DiMaggio and Carlos Ferro will return to voice their iconic characters, Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago, in the upcoming prequel titled Gears of War: E-Day. Announced on the 18th anniversary of the original game's release, this prequel takes place around Emergence Day, focusing on the origins of the Locust Horde's assault on humanity. This allows players to explore the bond between Marcus and Dom before the tumultuous events of the main series. The Coalition promises a return to the franchise's horror roots and an exploration of human reactions during catastrophic times. Although no release date has been set, the game is anticipated for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
