EA Hints Dragon Age: The Veilguard Delayed Until October

Aug 04, 2024 9:58 AM

Dragon Age fans eager for the release of "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" shouldn't expect it before October. EA has indicated that BioWare's much-anticipated RPG sequel won't be available until the third financial quarter, which starts in October and runs until November. The game, initially titled "Dragon Age: Dreadwolf," was first revealed in 2018, and fans have been hungry for updates ever since. Although the exact release date hasn't been confirmed, more information is expected to come this month.

When is Dragon Age: The Veilguard expected to release?

EA has suggested that "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" will be released between October and November 2024, as it falls within their third financial quarter.

"Dragon Age" is an iconic RPG series developed by BioWare, known for its rich storytelling and immersive gameplay. The last game, "Dragon Age: Inquisition," released in 2014, received critical acclaim but left fans waiting for nearly a decade for a new installment. In the interim, BioWare released titles like "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and "Anthem," which received mixed reviews. "The Veilguard" aims to bring fans back to the magical world of Thedas, promising to focus on single-player elements that BioWare excels in.

As a long-time fan of the Dragon Age series, it's exciting to see that The Veilguard is finally on the horizon, even if the wait until the third quarter of 2024 feels like an eternity. Fingers crossed that BioWare delivers something truly magical to make up for the decade-long anticipation

Looks like Dragon Age fans have a little longer to wait, but at least we can expect more juicy info soon Hopefully, BioWare hits the mark this time and rekindles the magic of Thedas after such a long hiatus.
