EA Probes PlayStation 5 Pro Issues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Electronic Arts (EA) is actively investigating performance issues with the PlayStation 5 Pro version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Following concerns raised about image quality, especially during ray tracing interactions, EA acknowledged the problems but has not provided a timeline for a fix. Digital Foundry pointed out that these issues lead to significant image strobing, which poses a challenge for players. The PS5 Pro launched on November 7, along with over 50 titles tailored to its advanced capabilities, including other games that also reported similar performance complaints.

Players are encountering severe image quality problems, particularly with foliage and ray tracing, resulting in strobing visuals that make gameplay less enjoyable. EA is investigating these issues but has yet to announce a resolution timeline.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and it expands on the story of Cal Kestis. Released in April 2023, it has garnered a dedicated fanbase for its immersive storytelling and gameplay mechanics.
