elden ring duo ‘let us duo her’ cheese toughest boss

Jul 09, 2024 1:54 PM

A dynamic Elden Ring duo named "Let Us Duo Her" has discovered a novel method for easily defeating one of the game's most challenging bosses, Malenia, Blade of Miquella. By utilizing the new abilities and weapons from the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, these players managed to exploit a weakness in Malenia's attack patterns. Employing the Dryleaf Whirlwind ash of war and donning Dane’s Footwork gear, they locked Malenia into a perpetual stun animation. This strategy, elucidated in a YouTube video, allowed the pair to repeatedly kick Malenia, bypassing most of her fearsome attack stages, and ultimately defeating her in a manner that many may see as "cheesing."

How did "Let Us Duo Her" manage to defeat Malenia so easily in Elden Ring?

The duo used a combination of the Dane’s Footwork gear equipped with the Dryleaf Whirlwind ash of war from the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, allowing them to stun-lock Malenia through repeated kicks, preventing her from executing her attacks effectively.

"Elden Ring," developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, took the gaming world by storm upon its release in February 2022. The game, with its challenging gameplay and expansive lore created in collaboration with author George R. R. Martin, quickly garnered attention. The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, which introduced new mechanics and weapons, has continued to expand the game's universe, providing players with fresh challenges and strategies for tackling the Strident demigods that roam the Lands Between.
