Epic Unveils New 4-Player PVE Mode: Think Helldivers, But Lego

Epic Games has announced a new PVE mode for Fortnite called Lego Fortnite Expeditions, which allows teams of up to four players to embark on missions reminiscent of classic gameplay. This fresh mode revisits the game's roots with missions set in three different locations and incorporates unique hero classes such as Shadow Caller, Hunter, and Rift Ripper, each offering distinct abilities. Players can contribute to global Team Projects which unlock buffs for all participants. The Expeditions mode will feature the main villain Mask Maker Daigo and characters from the popular Battle Royale storyline, including Jonesy and Hope. This new mode aims to provide a permanent addition to Fortnite, enhancing its Lego experiences alongside the existing titles like Lego Odyssey and Lego Brick Life. The launch will coincide with other new features to enrich the gaming experience, including a 32-player Blitz Royale mode for a quicker gaming experience on mobile devices.
