EPISCHE Avowed-artwork nu verkrijgbaar als dynamische Xbox-achtergrond

Feb 25, 2024 8:21 AM

Xbox Series X and S owners can now personalize their consoles with a dynamic background based on the acclaimed artwork from Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming game, Avowed. Lauded for its striking visuals, the artwork made waves among gamers when it was revealed earlier this year during the Developer Direct. Obsidian, known for The Outer Worlds and the Pillars of Eternity series, has developed Avowed to be an immersive first-person experience blending melee combat, firearms, and magic. Set within the same universe as Pillars of Eternity, Avowed is expected to launch later this year on Xbox Series X and S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass, providing players with a rich narrative without the need to have played the previous titles.

When will Avowed be released?

Avowed is scheduled for release in late 2023.

Avowed is an action role-playing game set in Eora, a fantasy world which is also the setting for the Pillars of Eternity series. This new installment will expand on the lore and universe established in Pillars of Eternity, providing a separate narrative that allows new players and veterans alike to enjoy the game. It's part of Xbox's commitment to high-quality exclusives for their next-gen consoles and will be accessible through Xbox Game Pass, confirming their strategy of strengthening their subscription service with engaging titles.

The dynamic background feature for Xbox Series X and S based on Avowed's artwork is a cool way to engage players with the game's captivating visuals even before its release. It's a smart move by Obsidian to build excitement for their immersive first-person experience, and I'm looking forward to diving into Eora's expanded lore when Avowed launches later this year.

Whoa, Avowed looks like it’s shaping up to be a visually stunning and immersive experience With Obsidian's track record, I'm definitely looking forward to diving into Eora and experiencing the rich narrative they're known for creating. Plus, it's always a win when a game like this is coming to Game Pass; can't wait to give it a go when it drops later this year

Oh, I love how Obsidian's world-building prowess shines through in Avowed's artwork. The game's integration of melee combat, firearms, and magic sounds like it'll offer a fresh take on the first-person RPG genre. Plus, the fact that it's hitting Game Pass at launch is a sweet deal for Xbox players.
