Get excited, Dragon Ball fans! There's a brand-new series called Dragon Ball: Daima coming our way, set to debut in Fall 2024. This cool news was announced at the New York Comic Con's Dragon Ball panel, where they even showed a brief teaser. The teaser initially wasn't shown on the livestream but was quickly released online by Toei Animation. And guess what it revealed? We'll be seeing de-aged versions of our favorite characters like Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and many more. Amazingly, Akira Toriyama, the original creator of Dragon Ball, is working on Dragon Ball: Daima. This new adventure will be a fresh story never told in the Dragon Ball universe, and it seems like Toriyama is even more involved than usual. One of the highlights from the teaser is a scene where Shenron says, "Now, state your wish." Then we see Goku get younger before our eyes, with other characters like Chi Chi, Pamput, Krillin, Piccolo, and Shin also in smaller forms. It's an exciting time for us Dragon Ball enthusiasts who've been eagerly waiting for updates since Dragon Ball Super concluded. While many thought we might be getting a continuation of Dragon Ball Super, it looks like the franchise is heading in a brand-new direction that also nods to its roots. So let's gear up for this thrilling new journey with familiar faces!
