The upcoming patch for the game Final Fantasy 14, dubbed 'Growing Light', is set to release on October 3 as announced by Square Enix. This forms version 6.5 of the game and prominently preps players for the narrative of the 'Dawntrail' expansion anticipated to roll out in Summer 2024.
Growing Light presents a variety of new main missions, a fresh dungeon named 'Lunar Subterrane', a new trial named 'The Abyssal Fracture', an unreal trial (Singularity Reactor), and a novel alliance raid (Myths of the Realm 3).
Moreover, the 'Duty Support' system plans to expand its offerings as the patch allows players to traverse all main dungeons from 'A Realm Reborn' through 'Endwalker' solo, supported by AI characters. Additionally, updates will be made to jobs, PvP options, mounts, and emotes.
Following 'Growing Light', patches 6.51 and 6.55 are projected to be released towards the end of October and mid-January respectively.
