Tom Bombadil is set to make his first-ever appearance in a mainline adaptation of The Lord of the Rings in Season 2 of The Rings of Power. Unlike his absence in Peter Jackson's movies, fans will finally see Bombadil brought to life by actor Rory Kinnear. Known for his mysterious nature and control over his land, Bombadil appears alongside his song-filled persona and flamboyant wardrobe. Season 2 of The Rings of Power will feature him in a new role, interacting with the Stranger and exploring the lands of Rhûn, a once-beautiful region now turned wasteland. This interaction aims to prevent the spread of destruction to the West. The highly-anticipated season premieres on August 29, followed by other Lord of the Rings projects like The War of the Rohirrim anime in December and new movies, including The Hunt for Gollum.
