First New Episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force in Eight Years Coming in November
Oct 19, 2023 9:59 PM'Aqua Teen Hunger Force', the fan-loved animated series, is all set to return after a hiatus of eight years on Nov. 26, as declared by Adult Swim today. The five-episode revival season will air at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block, while Max will host the new episodes a day after their air date.
The revitalization marks the return of the popular cartoon characters Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad. Despite the official description of the new series as a “micro-itty-bitty-mini season”, it is being promoted as Season 12 of one of Adult Swim's premiere series.
The original creators, Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro, accompanied by voice actors Carey Means as Frylock, Dana Snyder as Master Shake, and Willis as Meatwad and Carl, have reunited for this highly anticipated TV return. According to Adult Swim, the new episodes will start "where we left off in 2015, as Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad have returned to solve all of life's modern issues, and Carl returns because he can't sell his crappy house because he lives next door to food."
'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' originated in 2000 as an offshoot series of Space Ghost Coast to Coast. It went on to air 139 episodes up to 2015, making it Adult Swim's longest-running series at the time.
