First Trailer Released for Ghostbusters Frozen Empire

The Ghostbusters franchise is set to receive a new addition with the reveal of the first official trailer for "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire". Fans are teased with a return to the original Ghostbusters firehouse, featuring the Spengler family who were introduced in the previous film, "Ghostbusters: Afterlife".

The movie, set in New York City during a catastrophic freeze described as a "death chill", sees the return of Paul Rudd's character alongside Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, and Carrie Coon. Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson will also reprise their roles as original Ghostbusters, with a hint that Bill Murray may also make an appearance.

"Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" follows the new generation teaming up with their predecessors to fight off a new evil and avoid a second Ice Age. The film, directed by Gil Kenan from a script co-written with Jason Reitman, looks to continue the legacy while adding a fresh spin.

On a sidenote, "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" received high praise in its review for being a touching and entertaining continuation of the beloved series.
