Fortnite Unleashes Walking Dead Items: Create Skull-Cracking Fun

Fortnite is set to expand its collaboration with The Walking Dead by introducing a variety of themed assets for players to create their own mini-games. Notable characters such as Rick, Michonne, and Daryl will return, alongside the infamous antihero Negan, now available as a skin. Players can expect to see Negan's bat, Lucille, and other comic book-inspired zombies in-game. Epic Games encourages creators to utilize these assets for new role-playing survival RPGs, escape roguelikes, and chaotic shoot ‘em ups, with revenue sharing agreements in place with the license holder, Skybound. Additionally, a recent update hints at pop star Sabrina Carpenter joining Fortnite as the next festival artist, following other high-profile guests like Lady Gaga and Snoop Dogg.

The new assets include Negan as a playable skin, his baseball bat Lucille as a prop, comic book-style zombies, and a special post-processing effect to give the gameplay a comic book appearance.
