Freddy's Scare Game Tops Weekend Box Office Again

Nov 05, 2023 11:14 PM

The Five Nights at Freddy's movie continues to dominate the box office, winning its second weekend in a row with ticket sales amounting to $19.4 million, according to Comscore

The film has now reached a gross income of $113.6 million in North America and $217.1 million worldwide, despite a significant 76% drop from its first weekend

However, the review of the film suggests that it eschews some of the original game's features, focusing more on plot than the original game's security-cam thrills

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift's 'The Eras Tour' film placed second in its fourth week, with $13.5 million in ticket sales, making a grand total of $166 million in North America

The film has earned an impressive $231 million worldwide

Other films in the top five include 'Killers of the Flower Moon' at third place with $7 million, 'Priscilla' at fourth with $5 million, and 'Radical' at fifth with $2.7 million

'Killers of the Flower Moon' has earned a total of $52.3 million domestically and $119.2 million worldwide

The film 'Priscilla' has shown promising performance after expanding to more theaters following a limited run during its first weekend

Priscilla's review reflects positively on Director Sofia Coppola's ability to capture Priscilla Presley's teenage dreams and desires
