Geralt Sets Sail in Witcher 3 Mod: Meet the Jankdaw Ship

A new mod for The Witcher 3, titled "Sail Big Ship," allows players to take control of a full-size ship, bringing a fresh sailing experience to the game. Developed using the game's REDkit modding toolkit, this mod enables Geralt to pilot large frigates anchored in harbors, introducing a new way to explore the waters of the game's expansive world. While the mod offers an engaging twist, it comes with known quirks, such as Geralt floating awkwardly while steering and collision issues with the vessel, resulting in a unique but somewhat janky gameplay experience. Players can find these ships in Novigrad and Kaer Trolde harbors, but the mod is currently not available for PS5 users, despite the game being part of the PS Plus lineup this month.
