Grime hits Switch January 25, brace for impact
Jan 07, 2024 9:36 AMThe Nintendo Switch is set to receive the Metroidvania and soulslike hybrid game Grime on January 25th, with a simultaneous release of the last free DLC for the game, dubbed 'Parting Shade', across all platforms. The game, developed by Clove Bite and published by Akupara Games, first launched on PC in 2021 and later on other consoles in 2022. It's well-known for its combination of challenging gameplay and exploration with a deep level of character customization.
'Parting Shade' is expected to present a tough new challenge for players, likened to the Path of Pain segment from Hollow Knight, focusing on the small pot creatures found within the Weeping Cavity area. The DLC aims to provide players with a final, strenuous test in their gaming experience. The newly arriving Switch version will include all previously released DLC as well as the new 'Parting Shade' content. A sequel to Grime is also currently in development.
