Players can expect familiar survival elements accompanied by new features such as insect mounting and additional creepy critters, including big hairy caterpillars, to encounter.

What new features can players expect in Grounded 2? nPlayers can look forward to new locations, the ability to mount insects for traversal, and a variety of new enemies like larger caterpillars. The crafting and base-building mechanics will make a return alongside the survival gameplay fans loved in the original.n

Grounded, released in 2020, captivated players with its unique take on the survival genre, combining elements of adventure and horror in a backyard setting where everything seems oversized and intimidating. The game has been well-received, leading to this exciting sequel that promises to expand upon its predecessor's concept in innovative ways.

Riding giant caterpillars in a public park Grounded 2 is basically turning my childhood bug phobias into a power trip, and I love it. Obsidian’s knack for making mundane settings feel like epic survival horror is back, and this time the stakes feel even bigger (literally).

Insect mounting sounds like the weirdest power fantasy ever, and I’m totally here for it—Grounded 2’s public park setting should bring even more chaotic backyard energy. Obsidian’s survival formula already nailed the ‘tiny terror’ vibe, so bigger bugs and new biomes are just icing on the cake.
