Helldivers 2: 500KG Bomb Returns with a Bang

Jul 15, 2024 3:50 PM

Helldivers 2 players are once again voicing their frustrations with the Eagle 500KG bomb. Despite looking promising, this weapon has drawn criticism for not providing the expected wide area of damage, with effective destruction limited to the center of its blast. Recent user orders, such as calling for 200 kills with this bomb, highlighted its shortcomings. Players suggest its damage radius is more akin to a precision strike than a bomb. Arrowhead may be gathering data from these trials to refine the bomb.

Why is the Eagle 500KG bomb in Helldivers 2 criticized?n

Players believe it fails to live up to its potential as a massive explosive due to its small effective damage radius, behaving more like a precision missile.

Helldivers 2, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, continues the cooperative twin-stick shooter experience. Set in a dystopian future, players act as Helldivers, elite soldiers who deploy advanced weaponry to defend Super Earth. Despite players enjoying the strategic elements, weapon balance, including the 500KG bomb, remains a crucial topic of community feedback.
