Helldivers 2's Huge 2025 Update Adds Ragdoll Emojis & Balance

Helldivers 2 has released its first major update of 2025, patch 01.002.101, which brings notable gameplay changes and balance adjustments. This update enhances the gas status effect from spray weapons, allowing it to last longer, and reinstates the ability for players to emote while ragdolling. The size of the update weighs in at over 5GB, hinting at possible new content alongside balance tweaks. Moreover, essential fixes to visual bugs and matchmaking improvements have also been implemented, ensuring smoother gameplay.

The update introduces significant balance changes, including an increase in the gas effect duration from 6 to 10 seconds.
